Small damage still deserves a specialist
Plenty of homeowners assume a single hole is too minor for a drywall company and end up living with it, or they ask a general helper who fits it in between other chores. We think the opposite: a small patch is exactly where skill shows. On a large wall repair, the eye has a lot to take in. On a tiny one, there is nothing else to look at, so a ridge, a halo of flat paint or a smooth spot in a textured wall jumps straight out.
To be clear about who we are, we do drywall and nothing else. We are not a handyman service and we do not hang doors, fix faucets or assemble furniture. What we do is repair damaged walls and ceilings, match the texture around the repair and prime and touch up the paint on the repaired spot. That narrow focus is why our small repairs tend to vanish once they are done.
If your damage turns out to be larger than a patch, our main drywall repair service covers cut-out sections and replacement pieces in more detail.
The little jobs we fix every week
None of these need a big crew or a big day, but each one has its own trick to getting it invisible.
Dents and dings
Chair backs, vacuum heads and moving boxes crush the paper face without breaking through. We cut away loose paper, seal what is left so it cannot bubble, then skim it flat.
Screw and nail holes
Old picture hangers, curtain rod brackets and small shelf screws leave holes that shrink back if filled with the wrong product. A setting compound and a second coat keep them from dimpling.
Punctures the size of a fist or smaller
Anything that goes all the way through gets a proper backed patch instead of a stretch of mesh tape and a thick blob of spackle.
Short cracks and popped fasteners
Hairline cracks at a door corner and a few raised screw heads are quick fixes once the cause is understood. Our nail pop repair page explains why those bumps come back when they are only painted over.
A failed earlier patch
A lump left by a past repair, or a square you can see in side light, is often easier to fix properly than people expect.
Batch your list into one visit
Most homes have more than one small blemish once you start looking. Walk around before you call and note every spot: the hallway ding, the hole behind the bedroom door, the anchor holes from the old TV bracket, the crack over the closet. Grouping them into a single appointment means each patch gets the same compound, the same texture work and the same primer, and you are not waiting on drying time across several separate visits.
A simple way to do it is to photograph each spot with something for scale, like a coin or a tape measure, and send the set together. If wall-mount holes are on your list, our page on anchor and TV mount hole repair shows what those patches involve, and a hole left by a door handle is covered on the doorknob damage page.

Why a specialist's patch disappears and a quick fix does not
The difference is rarely the filler itself. It is in the steps that are easy to skip on a small job.
Feathering wide enough. A small hole is usually finished several times wider than the damage, so the slight build of compound tapers out instead of forming a bump.
Choosing setting compound for depth and a lighter topping coat for the finish, so the repair does not shrink or crack later.
Matching the existing surface, whether that is orange peel, knockdown or a smooth wall, rather than leaving a slick spot in a textured field.
Priming the patch before paint so the new compound does not drink the paint and show as a dull patch.
Touch-up painting of the repaired area with attention to sheen, which is often what gives a patch away.
HEPA dust control and cleanup, so a ten-minute patch does not leave a fine white film over the room.
How a small repair visit runs
Text us the photos
Send pictures of each spot to 727-242-8500. We usually reply with a free written quote within the hour, and that written quote is the final price.
Patch and fill
Each spot is cleaned up, backed if needed and filled in thin coats. On a multi-spot visit we work the list in order so coats can dry while the next area is started.
Texture, prime and touch up
Once sanded, the repairs are textured to match, primed and touched up so they sit flush with the wall around them.
Walk the list together
Before payment we go spot by spot with you. The work carries our one-year written workmanship warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will you really come out for just one hole?
Yes. Small drywall repair is a normal part of our week, not something we squeeze in reluctantly. Text a photo and we will send a written quote. If you have a few other marks around the house, adding them to the same visit is usually the most sensible use of the trip.
Do you do other odd jobs while you are here?
No. We are drywall repair specialists, not a handyman service. We patch walls and ceilings, match texture, prime and touch up the paint on the repaired spots. For plumbing, electrical, doors or fixtures you would want the appropriate trade, and we are happy to fix the drywall they open up afterward.
Why can I still see a patch I filled myself?
Usually one of three things: the compound was left proud of the wall instead of feathered out, the patch was not primed so the paint dried with a different sheen, or the smooth patch sits in a textured wall. All three can be corrected by skimming, texturing and priming the area again.
Do you repaint the whole wall after a small patch?
We touch up the paint on the repaired area so it blends. We do not offer full-room or full-wall repainting as a service. If your existing paint has faded a lot, a touch-up can still show, and we will tell you that honestly when we look at your photos.
What should I include in my photos?
One wide shot of each wall so we can see texture and lighting, and one close-up of the damage with a coin or ruler beside it. Mention whether the wall is painted with flat, eggshell or semi-gloss if you know. That is usually enough for an accurate written quote.
