How to read these photos
When you compare a before and after picture, look past the obvious hole. The real test is at the edges: is there a raised ridge where the patch meets the old wall, does the texture pattern carry across, and does the paint sheen look the same in side light? Those are the details we check before the final walkthrough, and the reason most repairs take several thin coats rather than one heavy one.

Why some projects take longer than others
The durations above vary for practical reasons, not because some crews work faster:
- Texture-only work can often wrap up the same day, because there is little compound to dry.
- Popcorn removal involves wetting, scraping, skim coating and refinishing an entire ceiling, which runs across multiple days.

Why did popcorn removal take two days in Clearwater?
Removing acoustic texture is only the first step. The ceiling then needs skim coating, sanding and a new finish, and each coat of compound must dry. Older ceilings should also be tested for asbestos before work starts.
Can you make a repair look like the Lakeland texture project?
